Clay County, FL. – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car on Thursday in Clay County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Blanding Boulevard at Parkwood Drive.
A 2012 Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 28-year-old Orange Park man was traveling southbound on Blanding Boulevard and was turning onto Parkwood Drive when it struck a motorcycle traveling in the right northbound lane of Blanding Boulevard.
The 19-year-old Orange Park man riding the motorcycle was taken to Orange Park Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The man driving the Chevrolet and his passenger did not suffer any injuries in the crash.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
