Hinesville, GA. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with another car on Friday night in Hinesville.
According to the Hinesville Police Department, the collision happened around 6 p.m. at Mattie Street and West Oglethorpe.
A motorcyclist was traveling westbound on West Oglethorpe Highway when he collided with a GMC Yukon SUV that was making a left turn from Mattie St. onto West Oglethorpe.
The female motorcyclist was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
