Dorchester County, S.C. – A motorcyclist died in a collision that left six other people injured on Thursday afternoon near Middleton Place.
According to the state troopers, the accident happened around 2:06 p.m. on Highway 61 near Middleton Lakes Road and Bees Ferry Road.
A 2020 Land Rover was traveling north when it collided with a Honda motorcycle also traveling north.
The Land Rover then collided with a Honda SUV after the initial crash.
The rider was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Land Rover and five occupants of the SUV were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Multiple agencies including the Charleston Police Department responded to the incident
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
