Franklin, KY. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday night near Franklin in Simpson County.
According to the Kentucky State Police, the accident happened on Nashville Road near Interstate 65.
A tractor-trailer operated by a 29-year-old Burien man was leaving the Flying J Travel Center onto Nashville Road when it entered the path of a 2024 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by a 33-year-old man from Bowling Green.
The unidentified rider was killed in the accident, according to the Simpson County coroner.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
