Monroe County, MI. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident early Tuesday morning in Detroit, Monroe County.
According to the Michigan State Police, the accident happened around 5:43 a.m. on Interstate 75 near Michigan 26.
A 53-year-old Detroit man was riding a maroon Honda motorcycle north on Interstate 75 when he rear-ended a service truck.
The impact of the collision ejected the rider from the motorcycle.
The unidentified man died at the accident scene.
The 53-year-old Dundee man who was driving the service truck was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
