Washington County, UT. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a police patrol car near Santa Clara in Washington County on Sunday evening.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Old Highway 91 near mile marker 11.
A motorcycle is reported to have collided with a marked patrol vehicle.
The rider was killed in the collision.
The officer was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
The deputy was treated at a local hospital and was later released.
The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
