Sarasota, FL. – Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that happened at an intersection in Manatee County on Sunday morning.
The deadly crash happened around 1:30 a.m. in the area of North Cattlemen Road and University Parkway.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a truck was attempting to turn onto University Parkway from North Cattlemen Road when it struck a motorcyclist traveling east on University Parkway.
The 18-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The 35-year-old truck driver and his 42-year-old passenger were unhurt.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
