Woodbury, MN – A motorcycle crash on Interstate 94 leaves 16-year-old with life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred on Wednesday around 4 p.m. when a Hyundai Palisade and a Harley motorcycle were traveling east near Woodbury Drive. Authorities said the traffic was stopped, prompting both vehicles to swerve to avoid collisions.
The Harley motorcycle struck the Hyundai, causing the rider to be thrown into the lane. A separate accident followed, involving a Kia Sorento and a Toyota Avalon, which ultimately hit the downed motorcyclist.
The 16-year-old motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Emergency services were on site to assist, and the area experienced lane closures during the investigation. No additional injuries have been reported. The investigation remains ongoing.
