DAVENPORT, Iowa — A 19-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash in Davenport early Thursday morning.
According to Davenport Police, emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of East River Drive and East Fourth Street at 2:03 a.m. on July 30. Authorities reported the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on River Drive when he struck a curb, losing control of the motorcycle.
The rider was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not been released.
The incident is under investigation, and no additional information on lane closures or tows is available at this time.
