Motorcyclist Killed in Jefferson County Crash on Highway 285
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — A 19-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash on southbound Highway 285 Sunday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. near milepost 241, north of the Aspen Park area, according to Colorado State Patrol (CSP). Authorities reported that the motorcyclist collided with a cable railing.
Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office will release his identity after notifying family members.
CSP’s Vehicular Crimes Unit is currently leading the investigation. The cause of the crash remains undetermined. No additional details regarding injuries or lane closures have been provided.
