Land O’ Lakes, FL. – Two people were killed in a motorcycle accident that happened car in Holiday on Wednesday evening.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Mile Stretch Drive and Arcadia Road at around 5:40 p.m.
A 20-year-old Holiday man was riding a Ducati M750 and was making a left turn at the intersection and crashed into a Scion XB sedan operated by a 70-year-old New Port Richey man.
The motorcyclist and his passenger, a 20-year-old Lutz woman, were killed in the accident.
The sedan driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
