West Palm Beach, FL. – Two Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies were killed in a motorcycle accident in Loxahatchee on Thursday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the double-fatal accident happened in the 18000 block of Southern Boulevard near Seminole Pratt Whitney Road at around 9:29 a.m.
The officers were handling traffic enforcement in the western part of the county when they were hit by an SUV driven by a woman who had veered off the side of the road.
All three officers were injured in the collision and were airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach where two succumbed to their injuries.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
