Motorcycle Crash Claims Young Man’s Life in Palestine, Texas
Palestine, TX (March 19, 2026) — A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday afternoon following a collision with an SUV on Old Elkhart Road. The crash occurred around 3 p.m. near Palestine Mall.
Emergency responders found the victim unresponsive and attempted life-saving measures. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV, driven by a 72-year-old man from Montalba, was making a turn into the mall’s west entrance when the northbound motorcycle struck it at a high speed. The SUV driver received treatment at the scene and was released.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
