20-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Crash at Cranford and Dill Avenues in Linden, NJ.

Linden, NJ (October 8, 2025) – A 20-year-old man from Linden died following a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Cranford Avenue and Dill Avenue around 9 p.m. on October 7.

According to Capt. Christopher Guenther of the Linden Police Department, the accident involved a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle and a 2017 Nissan Altima. The incident occurred when the Nissan driver attempted a U-turn, leading to a collision with the motorcycle.

Emergency medical personnel responded promptly; the motorcyclist was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities are still working to notify the victim’s family and have not released his identity.

As of Wednesday morning, no charges have been filed against the Nissan driver. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, conducted by the Linden Police Department’s Traffic Bureau.

Witnesses reported the scene was chaotic, and lane closures were in place to facilitate the investigation and cleanup. Further details will be released as the investigation proceeds.
