ORLANDO, Fla. — A collision at Hiawassee Meadow Drive and Hiawassee Road resulted in the death of a 20-year-old motorcyclist on October 26, 2023.
Authorities reported that a 2023 Jeep Compass, traveling west on Hiawassee Meadow Drive, attempted to turn left onto Hiawassee Road and struck a northbound Ducati motorcycle.
The Jeep driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Health Central Hospital. The motorcyclist was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
The incident is under investigation, and authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
