PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY (7News) — Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on southbound Interstate 495 on Saturday night.
The incident took place on August 23, 2025, around 7:32 p.m., involving a motorcycle and a commercial vehicle near the ramp to Saint Barnabas Road.
The victim, 21-year-old Camron Amirion Stroud of Upper Marlboro, was pronounced dead at Capital Region Medical Center, according to police.
Authorities said Stroud was riding a Suzuki motorcycle when the collision occurred with the commercial motor vehicle traveling in the same direction.
The Maryland State Police Crash Team is conducting the investigation, which remains ongoing. Personnel from the State Highway Administration provided traffic control and managed road closures for over three hours.
