BEAR LAKE, Idaho (KUTV) — A 22-year-old motorcyclist from North Ogden died in a collision with a Jeep on Minnetonka Cave Road on Friday.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:20 a.m. when the motorcyclist was riding a 2026 Kawasaki KLX110 eastbound while a 66-year-old woman from Montpelier was driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty westbound.
The motorcycle collided head-on with the Jeep, resulting in the motorcyclist’s death. He was not wearing a helmet at the time.
The 66-year-old driver was not wearing a seatbelt but sustained no serious injuries.
The roadway was blocked for about four hours following the accident.
Emergency responders included the Bear Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Bear Lake EMS, Bear Lake Fire, Intermountain Life Flight, and Idaho State Police.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
