28-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Multivehicle Crash in Brown County.

28-year-old motorcyclist dies in multivehicle crash on State Route 32 in Brown County on October 5.

BROWN COUNTY, Ohio —

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) responded to the incident at 9:28 a.m., which involved three vehicles.

According to OSP, a blue 2004 Yamaha FZ6 motorcycle traveling west in the left lane rear-ended a Volvo that was stopped at a red light. The impact pushed the motorcycle into another vehicle also stopped at the intersection of U.S. 62.

The motorcyclist, identified as Charles Rump of Seaman, Ohio, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

No other injuries were reported, and both lanes of State Route 32 were closed for several hours for investigation and cleanup.

The investigation is ongoing, according to OSP’s Georgetown Post.
