PLUMSTED TWP., N.J. (WPVI) — Three individuals were killed in a head-on collision in Ocean County, New Jersey, on Sunday night. The crash occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Pinehurst Road.
According to investigators, a male driver operating a Ford Bronco was traveling northbound when he crossed into the southbound lanes, colliding head-on with a Toyota Sienna. The driver of the Sienna and two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford Bronco sustained injuries and was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where he is reported to be in stable condition. The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
