HUDSON, Ohio (WOIO) – A 37-year-old Northfield man died Wednesday night following a motorcycle crash into a tree on Ravenna Road.
According to authorities, the accident occurred just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Ravenna Road and Middleton Road.
Officials reported that the motorcycle, traveling southbound, veered off the road, struck a downed tree, and ejected the rider.
The rider, identified as Joseph Gindlesperger, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:15 p.m.
Emergency personnel closed the roadway to manage the situation.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the incident.
