61-Year-Old Man Dies Days After St. Croix County Motorcycle Accident.

A 61-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, on Thursday evening.

Emergency responders were dispatched just before 7 p.m. to the intersection of County Trunk Highway T and County Trunk Highway G in Erin Prairie Township. According to the ST. CROIX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, Richard VanWagner was traveling northbound on his motorcycle when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic and was struck by a vehicle with the right of way.

VanWagner was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. Authorities confirmed he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

The crash is under investigation, with no additional details regarding lane closures or towing reported at this time.
