PARK HILLS, Mo. (KMOV/Gray News) – Father Larry Huber of Immaculate Conception Church died in a motorcycle crash on Thursday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 4:15 p.m. on Route V. Huber was riding a 2008 Honda VTX1330 northbound when a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport turned left in front of him.
Authorities said Huber attempted to brake, but his motorcycle skidded and collided with the right side of the Ford. He died at the scene.
The St. Louis Archdiocese confirmed Huber’s death and expressed condolences on the church’s Facebook page, describing him as a “shepherd, teacher, and faithful servant.”
Emergency responders from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and local agencies attended the scene. The roadway was closed during the investigation and later reopened.
