61-Year-Old Priest Killed in Motorcycle Accident.

PARK HILLS, Mo. (KMOV/Gray News) – Father Larry Huber, the priest at Immaculate Conception Church, died in a motorcycle crash on Thursday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Huber, 58, was riding a 2008 Honda VTX1330 northbound on Route V when a southbound 2023 Ford Bronco Sport made a left turn in front of him. Huber attempted to brake, resulting in a skid that led to a collision with the vehicle.

Emergency responders pronounced Huber dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities confirmed lane closures occurred during the investigation, which is ongoing.

The Immaculate Conception Church shared the news of Huber’s death on its Facebook page, highlighting his significant impact on the community.

The statement described Huber as a “shepherd, teacher, and faithful servant,” noting his devotion to guiding parishioners through both joyous and sorrowful times.

Huber was known for establishing the Community of Transcendent Men, aimed at educating young men in Catholic teachings.
