MILLERSVILLE, Md. — A 70-year-old man died Wednesday afternoon following a motorcycle crash on Veterans Highway.
According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the incident occurred at 3:07 p.m. just north of Brightview Road.
Authorities reported that Charles Braun, the operator of a 1982 Yamaha XJ650, lost control while changing lanes on uneven pavement. He was subsequently ejected from the motorcycle and struck by a Chevrolet Colorado.
Emergency responders transported Braun to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The 29-year-old driver of the Chevrolet was uninjured.
The Crash Reconstruction Team was dispatched to investigate the scene, and the inquiry is ongoing.
