GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 73-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision with a pickup truck Saturday morning.
At approximately 11 a.m., Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at US-31 and 152nd Avenue.
According to investigators, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on US-31 when a 46-year-old man from West Olive exited 152nd Avenue into its path.
The motorcyclist attempted to lay down the bike, sliding into the side of the pickup truck.
The injured motorcyclist was transported to a hospital for treatment. The pickup truck driver reported no injuries.
Grand Haven Township Fire Department personnel assisted at the scene. No additional details about the incident have been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
