BLUE EARTH CO., Minn. (Local News Wire) – A two-motorcycle collision in Blue Earth County on Tuesday morning resulted in the death of an 81-year-old woman.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident occurred at 9:54 a.m. near mile marker 98 in Lincoln Township. Both motorcycles were traveling westbound on Highway 60 when they collided.
Nancy Ann Beck, 81, of Dandridge, Tennessee, was operating a Harley-Davidson FLH and succumbed to her injuries. The other driver, a 63-year-old woman from Plano, Texas, was also on a Harley-Davidson FLH but was not injured.
Both riders were wearing helmets at the time of the crash. Authorities stated that alcohol is not suspected to be a factor.
The investigation into the crash remains active. Emergency response teams were on the scene to assist.
