ALEXANDRIA, N.H. — A motorcycle crash on West Shore Road claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman on July 4.
According to New Hampshire State Police, the incident occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. at the Bristol town line. Troopers found a wrecked 2007 Ducati motorcycle at the scene.
The motorcyclist, identified as Megan Bouchard, of Greenville, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities stated that preliminary investigations indicate Bouchard did not negotiate a curve in the roadway.
Witnesses reported that speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash. Emergency response teams were on-site to assist, and no additional injuries have been reported.
