Sebago Man Dies in Motorcycle Collision with SUV
A motorcycle crash in Sebago resulted in one fatality on Sunday, October 1, at approximately 2:41 p.m.
Authorities reported that a 47-year-old man was riding his motorcycle when he collided with an SUV on Route 114 near the intersection with Deer Hill Road. Emergency responders from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Sebago Fire Department arrived at the scene, where the motorcyclist sustained critical injuries. He was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
The driver of the SUV, a 36-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and Route 114 experienced temporary lane closures as an investigation commenced.
According to law enforcement, speed and weather conditions will be evaluated as part of the ongoing investigation. No additional details have been released at this time.
