Fulton County Motorcycle Crash Claims One Life; One Critical
FULTON COUNTY, GA — A motorcycle crash on Interstate 75 left one person dead and another critically injured Friday night, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:41 p.m. near the 85-mile marker, involving two motorcycles. Emergency response teams, including the Georgia State Patrol and local paramedics, arrived at the scene shortly after the crash.
One rider, identified as a 34-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second rider, a 29-year-old male, sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities reported that the crash prompted the closure of the left two lanes of I-75 Southbound for several hours as an investigation unfolded. The roadway was reopened around 1:00 a.m., following the removal of the vehicles involved.
