Access Denied: Users Blocked from Website Amid Security Concerns.

GRISWOLD, CT — A motorcycle crash resulted in one fatality on Route 138 on October 1 at approximately 2:41 p.m.

According to the Connecticut State Police, the accident involved a motorcycle and a car. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, where the motorcycle operator, identified as a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead. The operator’s name has not yet been released pending notification of family.

Witnesses reported the motorcycle collided with a sedan traveling eastbound on Route 138, near the intersection with Cove Road. The operator of the car sustained minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.

Life Star was called to the scene but was ultimately not utilized after the operator’s condition was assessed. Authorities have confirmed that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.

The eastbound lanes of Route 138 were closed for several hours during the investigation and cleanup. The Connecticut State Police Collision Analysis Unit is investigating the incident.
