VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – A 34-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on the James River Bridge on October 12 at approximately 2:41 p.m.
Authorities reported the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound when the incident occurred, involving one motorcycle. Emergency responders from the Isle of Wight County and Virginia State Police arrived on the scene to provide medical aid, but the man was pronounced dead at the site.
According to officials, the eastbound lanes of the bridge were closed for several hours as the accident was investigated. Towing services cleared the motorcycle shortly after the investigation began.
