Williamsburg Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash
WILLIAMSBURG, VA—A motorcycle crash on Friday evening resulted in the death of a 27-year-old man.
The collision occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Richmond Road near the intersection with New Hope Road. Authorities reported that a motorcycle and a sedan were involved in the incident.
Emergency responders from the Williamsburg Fire Department and James City County responded to the scene. The motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan was not injured, according to police.
Richmond Road was closed for several hours as investigators from the Virginia State Police examined the circumstances of the crash. No charges have been filed at this time.
