A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on I-10 in Avondale, Arizona, at approximately 6:15 p.m. on October 5.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident involved two vehicles, including a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle. The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the passenger vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities reported that all eastbound lanes of I-10 were closed for roughly two hours during the investigation and cleanup. The road has since reopened.
