Two Dead in Motorcycle-Car Crash Near Tiffin
Tiffin, OH – Two individuals died following a motorcycle and car collision on State Route 53 shortly after 6 p.m. on October 5.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a motorcycle traveling south struck a vehicle making a turn onto a roadway. The motorcycle operator, a 35-year-old man, and his 31-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment.
Emergency responders from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and Tiffin Fire Department were dispatched to the crash site. The roadway was closed for several hours as investigators gathered evidence and cleared the wreckage.
Authorities said an investigation into the incident is ongoing. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending family notification.
