Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Greenbelt Road Early Sunday Morning
LANTHAM, MD — A collision between a motorcycle and a sedan on Greenbelt Road resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man early Sunday morning, August 16.
According to Prince George’s County Police, Alonzo Bibines III was riding westbound on Greenbelt Road just before 4 a.m. when he struck a sedan that was making a left turn onto Aerospace Road. Emergency responders pronounced Bibines dead at the scene; the driver of the sedan was not injured.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, including vehicle speed and any potential impairment. No charges have been announced as inquiries continue.
