CLINTON COUNTY, MO — A motorcycle accident late Monday night left a 46-year-old Mountain Home, Arkansas driver seriously injured.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Missouri Highway 116 near the intersection with Highway 69, about 10 miles west of Polo. The driver was traveling east when he hit the curb of the roundabout, causing the motorcycle to land on its side.
Emergency responders were not indicated at the scene, and the driver was transported by a private party to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The motorcycle was subsequently walked from the scene with a flat tire.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
