SKAGIT COUNTY—An Arlington man died in a motorcycle collision with a Subaru Forester on Sunday, August 31, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident occurred around 4:32 p.m. at the intersection of SR-20 and Dalles Road. Authorities report that a Subaru Forester, turning west onto SR-20, was struck by a Yamaha motorcycle traveling eastbound, driven by 48-year-old Wesley Feller of Arlington.
Feller was pronounced dead at the scene by Skagit County Fire District 8. He was wearing a USDOT-approved helmet at the time of the crash. Authorities stated that Feller failed to yield, leading to the collision. No drugs or alcohol are suspected to have contributed to the incident.
Emergency services, including local fire and law enforcement agencies, responded promptly. Dalles Road was blocked following the crash, and an investigation is ongoing.
