Motorcycle Crash Near Orcutt Claims One Life, Another Injured
ORCUTT, CA — A motorcycle collision on Saturday afternoon resulted in the death of a man near the Highway 1 and Highway 135 interchange.
The crash occurred at 3:27 p.m., involving two motorcycles. Timothy Greene, 64, of Corona, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The rider of the second motorcycle, a 60-year-old man from Huntington Beach, sustained major injuries and was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The CHP has initiated an investigation into the incident. Lt. R. Rodriguez stated, “Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragic crash and the families impacted.” Authorities are promoting safe driving habits to prevent future tragedies.
