BEECHER, Wis. (WLUC) – A 74-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash in Beecher on Saturday afternoon.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident on County Highway Z near Fur Farm Drive at 12:54 p.m.
Gary I. Yaggie of Dunbar was riding a Harley Davidson Trike eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, veering into a ditch and striking a tree.
Authorities confirmed Yaggie was not wearing a helmet and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency responders included the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office, Beecher Dunbar Pembine Fire Department, Pembine-Dunbar-Beecher Rescue, and Integrity Care EMS.
