BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WSBT) — A 73-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash in Benton Township on Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities responded to the area of 1400 Mall Drive shortly after 4 p.m. for reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a car.
First responders found the man lying on the ground with a significant head injury and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The driver of the car, who was uninjured, was cooperative with officers at the scene.
According to police, there is no indication that drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
The incident is under investigation; no further details have been released.
