RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – A Canadian motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Interstate 90 on Aug. 2, approximately 15 miles north of Sheridan.
According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, the rider struck a deer and was subsequently hit by another vehicle that did not see him in the roadway, dragging him a short distance.
The deceased has been identified as Jorden Mccullough (39) from Calgary, Alberta. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities reported that, as of this date, Wyoming has recorded 77 roadway fatalities in 2025, an increase from 58 cases during the same period in 2024 and 90 in 2023.
