BROOKEVILLE, MD — A motorcycle crash on New Hampshire Avenue resulted in the death of a 30-year-old man on Saturday evening.
The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. near the 22000 block of New Hampshire Avenue. Authorities identified the victim as Patrick Adam Smith of Bowie, who was riding a black 2006 Triumph Rocket III. Investigators reported that Smith lost control and collided with a southbound silver 2013 BMW 128i.
Despite the efforts of first responders, Smith was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the BMW reported no injuries.
The Montgomery County Department of Police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is conducting the investigation.
