BRATENAHL, Ohio – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash early Sunday morning on I-90 East near Eddy Road, according to the Bratenahl Police Department.
Authorities reported the incident occurred at 1:13 a.m., involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle. A 55-year-old South Euclid man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 31-year-old Cleveland man, fled the scene but was later apprehended by police.
He faces pending charges in Cleveland Municipal Court, including Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, Stopping After Accident, and Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available. The Bratenahl Police Department offered condolences to the victim’s family and acknowledged the efforts of first responders.
