Carrington Police Chief dies in motorcycle crash.

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The Chief of Police in Carrington, ND, Brandon Sola, 36, died in a motorcycle crash on June 28 around 9:00 p.m.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Sola was riding his Harley Davidson west on I-94 near West Fargo when he lost control, resulting in his ejection from the motorcycle.

First responders arrived on scene and provided medical aid, but Sola was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

Maj. Gen. Al Dohrmann of the North Dakota Air National Guard expressed condolences, stating, “Our North Dakota National Guard family mourns the loss of one of our family members.”

Sola had served with the 119th Wing’s Happy Hooligans since 2003. He is survived by his wife and five children.

A GoFundMe page has been established to assist with funeral costs and memorial expenses.

The roadway was not reported closed following the incident, and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
