CASCO, Maine —
A motorcycle crash on Route 302 in Casco resulted in one death and one severe injury on Thursday at approximately 8:45 p.m.
According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, a 2003 Honda motorcycle crossed the center line and collided with a 2011 Lexus sedan near Watkins Flowers.
Kyle Lunn, 34, of Casco, was the motorcycle operator and was pronounced dead at the scene. A juvenile passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
The driver of the Lexus, a 26-year-old man from Naples, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bridgton Hospital.
Authorities reported that members of the Casco and Naples fire departments also responded to the incident. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and the Windham Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating.
