A 62-year-old Cedar Hill man died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 185 north of Goose Creek Road in Washington County on Saturday morning.
The collision occurred at 10:28 a.m. on February 28, 2026. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2017 Harley Davidson Street Glide, traveling northbound at excessive speed, failed to negotiate a right curve, crossing into the southbound lane and striking a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser.
The motorcyclist, wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:55 a.m. by Washington County Coroner Hatfield. The 37-year-old driver of the Toyota from St. Charles was wearing a seat belt and reported no injuries.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed by Elliott’s Towing. The Missouri State Highway Patrol received assistance at the scene from additional troopers. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
