Chantilly Father Brian Dan Remembered for His Impact Beyond Family Following Fatal Motorcycle Crash.

Motorcycle Crash Results in Fatality in Loudoun County

A motorcycle crash at the intersection of Tall Cedars Parkway and South Riding Boulevard left one man dead and another injured shortly after 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Brian Dan, 44, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The driver of the involved SUV, a 61-year-old woman from Chantilly, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said the crash is under ongoing investigation. No further details about lane closures or tows have been released.

Dan is survived by his wife, EmaLee, and their three children, ages 18, 16, and 13. A GoFundMe campaign launched by friends reports that Dan was the family’s sole provider, with EmaLee caring for two children with special needs while their eldest prepares to enter college. Within a day, the campaign raised nearly $80,000 for funeral and future expenses.

William Kilmer, a family friend, noted, “EmaLee now faces the heartbreaking challenge of not only mourning the loss of her loving husband but also ensuring the well-being and future of her children.”

Friends described Dan as dedicated to serving others throughout his life.
