Colorado Springs Woman Charged with Killing Law Enforcement Officers in Idaho Crash.

Kooskia, Idaho – Three motorcyclists are dead following a crash involving a pickup truck on U.S. Highway 12 at 4 p.m. on June 16.

According to the Idaho State Police (ISP), a 2019 Ford F-150 attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone, crossing the centerline and colliding head-on with three eastbound motorcycles. All three motorcyclists, identified as Ethan Powers, 35; Jeremy Coleman, 45; and Nathan McCormick, 26, all from Colorado, died at the scene.

The Idaho County Coroner confirmed the identities of the victims, with Coleman and Powers being deputies with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office. McCormick was Coleman’s son-in-law.

Neale Brewer, 60, the driver of the Ford, was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Following her release, she was arrested and booked into the Idaho County Jail on three counts of vehicular manslaughter.

U.S. Highway 12 remained closed for approximately six hours as emergency responders assisted at the scene and investigators processed evidence.

ISP was supported by the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho County Coroner’s Office, Idaho Transportation Department, and local fire and EMS personnel.

The Colorado Fraternal Order of Police issued a statement mourning the loss of the deceased, highlighting their service and commitment to the community.
