Coroner Identifies 20-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in York County Crash
HANOVER BOROUGH, Pa. — A 20-year-old motorcyclist died early Wednesday morning after running a red light and colliding with a pickup truck in York County.
Jacob Mummert of Conewago Township was operating a Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle when the incident occurred at the intersection of Carlisle Street/Route 94 and Eisenhower Drive at 5:13 a.m., according to authorities. Mummert was pronounced dead at the scene; he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The coroner’s office ruled the death an accident.
