Teen Motorcyclist Dies in Meridian Collision

MERIDIAN, Idaho — An 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a box truck at East Ustick Road and North Locust Grove Road on Monday, April 6.

Tucker Malloy succumbed to blunt force injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Ada County Coroner’s Office.

Investigators reported that Malloy was northbound on Locust Grove when a box truck, driven by a 34-year-old Caldwell man, turned left into the intersection, colliding with Malloy’s blue 2007 Yamaha FZ6 motorcycle. The truck’s driver was unharmed.

Malloy was the sole occupant of the motorcycle and was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, as confirmed by the Idaho State Police.

The intersection remained closed for several hours while police conducted an investigation into the crash.
